Why we exist
Markitera started because too many good local businesses were being sold marketing they could not see the point of.
A restaurant would pay for a website nobody could update. A contractor would get a logo with no files they could actually use. Somebody would sell them ads and disappear before anyone checked whether the phone rang. The work was technically delivered, and nothing about the business had changed.
We would rather earn next month than lock anyone into a contract they cannot read.
So we built what we wished those owners had: one local team handling the whole picture — the brand, the website, the photos, the posts, the ads, the print — explained in plain English. No jargon, no agency theatre, no mystery invoices.
We are on Triplett Street in Owensboro, and almost every client is close enough to visit. That is deliberate. It is much harder to hide behind a dashboard when you run into your clients at the grocery store.
